Ken Muenzenmayer works in acrylics on a textured surface, fracturing the painted stroke into minute pieces that creates a visual blending and depth in his paintings.  By downplaying the significance of subject matter and simplifying the composition, he creates “the big vision” by layering drybrush and washes which connect all of the component parts of a painting into a single broad harmony.
